A state of the art pharmaceutical marketing consultancy is seeking an entry level front desk receptionist on a temp to hire basis. The temp period is 90 days.
The purpose is so that the Receptionist begins to learn about the company, the phone system, oversee conference room usage, work on special projects, etc. The goal is so that after a years time the Receptionist will identify a department that they feel is where they'd like to work in the future. When an opening happens, the Receptioist moves into that role and another temp to hire person is brought in as the Receptionist.
Responsibilities:
• Greet visitors and guests with a positive, helpful attitude.
• Answer and direct incoming calls, take messages, and relay information.
• Manage the scheduling and booking of appointments or meetings.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
• Handle inquiries and provide accurate information regarding services or company policies.
• Process and sort incoming mail and deliveries.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, faxing, and photocopying.
• Assist with basic administrative tasks, including data entry and document management.
• Manage office supplies inventory and reorder as necessary.
• Ensure all visitors sign in and out, maintaining accurate visitor logs.
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient handling of tasks.
• Handle customer complaints or issues promptly and escalate when necessary.
• Uphold company confidentiality standards.
Educational requirements:
Prefer a degree in Marketing
Experience requirements:
0-2 years
Qualifications:
College Degree, good communication skills, strong desire to be in a marketing environment
