A venerable non-profit founded in 1853 is seeking a Talent Partner (TP) in their corporate office in Harlem, NY. Responsibilities:

Essential Duties:

Full-Cycle Recruitment (80%)
• Facilitate in-house full-cycle recruitment activities for designated division –support job descriptions, job requisitions/postings, determine Fair Standard Labor Act classifications for positions, sourcing, screening, interviewing, preparing offer letters, and monitoring application processes for identified candidates
• Participate in strategic recruitment efforts and proactively support recruitment and sourcing strategies, including:
 Utilize and own effective recruitment techniques and proactively develop long-term relationships with schools, professional associations, publications, passive recruiting methods, job board platforms, agencies, and other channels to broaden the pipeline pool of potential applicants for current and future opening
 Represent the organization to enhance employer brand through recruitment platforms such as job fairs, career events,
networking, and other mediums
 Ensure that job listings are accurately displayed on external job boards and platforms
 Conduct initial telephone and/or face-to-face interviews to screen applicants and conduct reference checks
 Prep interview materials for the hiring manager and/or other hiring team members
 Facilitate communication between candidate and hiring manager
• Build an understanding of the organization’s jobs program structures and actively stay abreast of changing program needs
• Develop relationships with hiring managers and other stakeholders to maximize the overall talent acquisition function
• Provide objective assessment and recommendations to hiring managers in candidate selection, ensuring integrity from a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion lens
• Identify areas of improvement with the Application Tracking System (ATS), hiring/onboarding processes, and other areas to support the continuous improvement of Talent Acquisition functions
• Collaborate with the Talent Management and Human Resources team, hiring managers, and other organization stakeholders for a seamless hiring/onboarding process that aligns with internal policies/guidelines and business processes
• Stay current with employment and labor laws at the Federal, State, and jurisdiction level that affects record-keeping, hiring practices, etc.
• Serve as key personnel in establishing a positive customer (hiring manager and candidate) experience with ongoing communication and updates in application processes to keep all parties engaged
• In-person collaboration is an essential function of the job
• Performs other duties as assigned

Data Integrity and Reporting (20%)
• Track recruitment data supporting HR recruitment metrics and track application status processes for candidates
• Utilize the ATS to report and monitor pipeline/candidate/requisition data
• Ensure completion of new hire information for record-keeping, such as EEO info during the application process

Educational requirements:

High School Diploma

Experience requirements:

• Minimum of three years of high-volume full-cycle recruitment experience within a Human Resources setting
• Three years of experience in traditional and untraditional sourcing methods to include job boards, social platforms, passive recruiting outreach, etc.
• High School Diploma or equivalency

• Proficient in utilizing and navigating various systems/tools: HRIS, ATS, Microsoft Office applications, and the World Wide Web
